Engineer, Dreamer, and Evolutionary Architect

I am Elissavet (Elizabeth) Triantafyllopoulou, an Information Technology Solutions Specialist with over twenty years of experience in architecting digital systems. Since 2003, I have been dedicated to bridging the gap between legacy foundations and the modern web, leading projects from initial concept through to deployment and maintenance.

A Twenty-Year Legacy of Digital Evolution

Since beginning my professional journey in 2003, I have transitioned through every major era of the modern web. This longevity has shaped me into an “Evolutionary Architect”: a developer who maintains deep foundational knowledge of legacy systems while mastering modern, high-performance frameworks. As an end-to-end specialist, I lead all phases of the product lifecycle—from conceptualization and information architecture to database design, full-stack development, and long-term maintenance.

Public Health Systems & Digital Governance

Since May 2024, I have served as an IT Solutions Specialist for the 6th Regional Health Directorate at the Greek Ministry of Health. My work focuses on building and managing high-stakes digital infrastructure for the public sector:

  • Primary Health Care Portal: I am responsible for the end-to-end design, development, deployment, and maintenance of the regional Primary Health Care portal. This platform serves as the central digital gateway for 88 Health Centers and hundreds of regional clinics across the Peloponnese, Ionian Islands, Epirus, and Western Greece, supporting national initiatives such as the “Personal Doctor” program and the National Prevention Program (PROLIPSIS), also known as “PROLAMVANO.”
  • Rural Doctor Management System: To modernize the recruitment and placement of rural doctors (αγροτικοί γιατροί), I designed a relational database and currently developing a custom Django application deployed with Nginx on Ubuntu. This system eliminates data entry errors during the application process and provides immediate result issuance through automated Excel reporting, streamlining a critical administrative workflow for the Directorate.

Academic Rigor and Continuous Growth

I believe that staying at the forefront of technology requires constant academic and practical evolution. I am currently in the third and final semester of my M.Sc. in “Technologies and Services for Intelligent Information and Communication Systems” (Smart ICT) at the University of Peloponnese. This program focuses on managing large-scale data and intelligent systems, complementing my existing Bachelor’s in Applied Informatics and a Nanodegree on Generative AI from Udacity.
